All lab infrastructure is available to researchers and students (home and visiting) for the conduct of research activities at University of Primorska.
Computer cluster at UP FAMNIT
The coputing cluster at UP FAMNIT consists of 24 computers with 16 CPU cores, 32 threads capability and 32 GB of RAM and a GPU unit. In total the cluster is capable of computing 768 processes in parallel. Each computing node consists of an AMD Threadripper CPU, 32 GB RAM, NVME disk and an NVIDIA GTX 1080ti GPU.
The range of computations performed on the computing cluster at UP FAMNIT is quite broad:
