Aleksandar Tošić

Research area: Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT), Sensor Networks, Network Analysis, Artificial Intelligence.

Aleksandar is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies of the University of Primorska and a Scientific Associate at the InnoRenew CoE.

He completed his undergraduate, graduate, and PhD studies in Computer Science at the University of Primorska, where he developed research interests in optimization, algorithms, and distributed systems. His current work focuses on blockchain technologies, distributed AI systems, and large-scale network analysis. He is involved in several national and Horizon Europe projects, including Swarmchestrate, Woodstock, and Trustchain, and is the founder of the open-source Nion Network project.

When possible, he dedicates his free time to personal projects and family.
